BIG Collective Haul ♡ Nadia Petersen

Monday 31 July 2017

Hi Hi !
I'm sure everyone agrees that sometimes we go a bit over the top and have a big shopping spree, which doesn't have to be all at once- just over a few months we buy a lot more than we should have! Today's post, as you can tell by the title is going to be my collective haul of things I've got over June and July. Now, not all the things have been bought with my own money, some I have had kindly gifted to me off family members :) So a BIG thank you to you all who are reading this.
I have bought a lot more things but I didn't put them in this haul since the blog post would've gone on forever- so these are some of my favourite things I have been bought or bought myself.

Another thing! As of today, I've decided that I want my blog to represent me a bit more, soooo, this blog will now be a lot more health, fitness and organic orientated. Of course, you'll still get the things I post usually, but now you'll also get organic product reviews, healthy restaurant reviews, fitness tips, as they are the sorts of things I'm really passionate about, so why not post about them?

Note- I have not been sponsored by any of these brands, all opinions are my own.

This month I've been really into skincare, and I've been trying out lots of new products. Most people spend way too much money on makeup as that is what they love, but me, I've spent just about all my money on skincare! Although I probably didn't need all of this stuff for my 15 year old skin, I want to try and prevent wrinkles before my face gets loads of them, and with organic products, they really do improve your skin.

Here are a few of my favourite skincare brands-
Neals Yard
The Organic Pharmacy
Nourish London
Green People
Lush
Sukin

If you read my "Lazy Day" Morning Routine post, you will know that The Organic Pharmacy Carrot Butter Cleanser is my all time favourite cleanser. It is such a luxurious product, not only by it's wonderful hydrating texture but by its price as well! Even though this product makes my money drop to £0, it lasts me 6 months (which I think is worth it) and it makes my dry, sometimes flakey skin, extremely hydrated and nourished.
Lush BB Seaweed Face Mask- Lovely exfoliating face mask for normal/dry skin which makes your face super soft and it makes me feel so relaxed. Plus it smells amazing. This is my first time trying a Lush face mask and the good thing is that if you keep the pots, once you've used 5 pots you can take them in and get a free face mask of your choice! I will definitely be doing that as I am nothing but pleased with the mask.
The Organic Pharmacy Herbal Toner- Great for after you have cleansed your skin, makes you feel really refreshed. Also, as I only have teenage skin, all these products are perfect for me as I find myself with quite sensitive skin.
The Organic Pharmacy Lip and Eye cream- I've only used this once so don't have a lot to say about it but so far so good!
Neals Yard Soothing Starflower Daily Essence- I have never tried an 'essence' before and I love it! I wouldn't say that it is a necessary step in my routine but I will admit that I do love using it. Now, I'm not sure if I will buy it again as it is £35 which is expensive, but, it does make my skin very hydrated and soothes and redness.
Neals Yard mascara- This isn't really a skincare item but it is natural so I thought I'd include it. For saying that it is a natural mascara with no parabens or chemicals, it works wonders on my lashes. I've noticed a difference as well when I take it off- my lashes are actually growing! Although I have been fortunate to have naturally long lashes, I still love to use mascara and curlers. This mascara is quite wet so it can smudge easily so I wouldn't recommend if it's going to be a long day, but for say 5 hours it works really well! You just have to get a clean mascara brush after and separate your lashes so they don't stick together (but I do this with every mascara).

Still along the "skincare" theme (kind of) I have also got:
Neom diffusers in Tranquility and Happiness- I have to say, Happiness is my ultimate favourite but don't get me wrong, tranquility is also lovely. They both do exactly what they say, they make your house smell nice, they are non toxic and they make you happy and tranquil.
Bath and Body Works Bali Blue Surf set- This smells a m a z i n g! It literally reminds me of the beach, which I miss since I'm in rainy England! But this was a gift so thank you family! I would definitely recommend this, and it's perfect to take to school.
Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming- Everytime I walk past this in a shop I give it a spray because I don't think there's any scent I love more than Miss Dior (aha that rhymed). If you are going to a shop with Miss Dior in it, go and smell it because you will love it!!!

Books, books, books. I love them a lot. This month I bought 2 books and had 2 kindly gifted to me by my mama.
Natural Beauty- This book, as well as the one I've written underneath are both about the different skincare recipes you can make, about your skin and a little bit of chemistry as well! It's a really good book if you want to get into the natural beauty industry.
Natural Beauty Alchemy
50 Beaches To Blow Your Mind- I just love beaches. This book is great for showing the best beaches in the UK and abroad! I can't wait to go and check them out for real.
She Means Business by Carrie Green- This is by far the best book I've ever read. It's so motivating and I love it so much. A review will come soon!
Paperchase 2017/2018 diary- This isn't the same as the other books but it has helped me a lot this month with organisation, so that is something I definitely think you should spend your money on, a great organiser to organise your busy life!

Something I love about this book is the great inspiring quotes.

Super cute and very full!

So, that concludes my post. I also got quite a few other little bits and bobs off my family so thank you again to you all. :)

I hope you all enjoyed reading this looooonnnnngggg post! If you have tried any of these products or would like to, don't forget to leave a comment!

Love from, your online best friend,
Nadia xoxo
