Lush Haul ♡ Mini Reviews

Friday 25 August 2017

If you have read some of my previous blog posts you will know that I love skincare. I love trying new skincare and buying skincare! When I went into town the other day, I bought a few things with my pocket money from Lush, so, I thought I'd share with you what I bought and also some mini reviews of my products.

What I bought-
Volcano foot mask (gift for my mama)
Rub Rub Rub shower scrub
BB Seaweed face mask
Mask of Magnaminty self preserving (this is my sisters that I borrow!)
Charity Pot

Volcano foot mask  is a mask that you apply to clean feet and then you can put a plastic food bag over the top and leave for 15-20 minutes. Once the time is up you then have to take the bags off and wash it all off. This mask works as a light exfoliant to your feet and also makes your feet feel soft (so my mum says!). This foot mask is recommended to anyone with dry skin or if they just want something to pamper their feet with. It's easy to use, however my mum said that if you have very dry heels that it isn't good enough for getting rid of that, she said it's a good product but she wouldn't be interested in buying it again.

Rub Rub Rub  is a body scrub that also doubles as a shower gel. What I love about this product is how easy it is to use, how it smells and also how it makes my skin feel. I use this product on my legs and my arms and sometimes I will use it on my whole body (I wouldn't recommend it for your face though..). It smells so so fresh and it really does get rid of dry skin without harshly scrubbing at your body and making it go bright red! The only downside to this product is that it does get used up quite quickly (I bought the smallest pot) but other than that I'd definitely recommend you trying this out as I will be buying this again!
Fun fact- I have had this for around a week and a half and it's already all gone! I will surely be going back to Lush ASAP to get another! Alos, incase you didn't know, once you have used the pots, make sure you keep them because you can return 5 of the pots and get a free face mask!

BB Seaweed face mask  is a facemask that is aimed at people who have dry skin or sensitive skin. When I asked the man in lush how long this lasts, he said about 6 uses, well, I have used this product a lot more than 6 times and it's still going strong! I bought the smallest pot as this was my first time trying this product out and it makes my skin feel so nice. It is such a luxurious product and in my opinion quite affordable too. My little sister has oily skin and when she tried out the mask it worked really well on her, so although it is aimed at dry skin you can also use it if you have slightly oily skin. Because of the bits in it, it exfoliates your skin as you take it off which I love. I'd give this a 10/5, I love it so much.

Mask of Magnaminty is a body and face mask aimed at people who are more prone to getting spotty skin. When I use my BB Seaweed mask, I put it everywhere except my T Zone and then I put this mask of magnanimity on my T Zone as that is where I get spots usually. I have only tried this product once but I already love it. I don't know how well it would work if you had really spotty skin or acne as I have never had a problem with that just sometimes I get a few spots, so I would ask a colleague in Lush if it is good for your skin.

Charity Pot is a body moisturizer that comes in different sizes. It is extremely moisturising and sinks in fast to the skin. As the name of it suggests, the money (I'm not entirely sure how much of it) that you spend on a charity pot, gets donated to a specific charity that is featured on the top of the pot. Lush has previously donated £6.3 million (globally) to charities and continues to raise as much money as they can. So, not only are you getting a good moisturizer, you're also donating to worthwhile charities which I think is so amazing

So, that concludes my blog post. I hope you will give some of these a try as I have really seen a difference in my skin so I'm sure you will too! My next upcoming blog posts are going to be book reviews, going on holiday and also some back to school posts so stay tuned for them!
